Chapter 01 — Why live resin
We flash-freeze because flavor is fragile.
Most concentrates on the shelf are distillate — refined to potency, stripped of everything else, and re-flavored with botanical terpenes borrowed from other plants.
Bobsled runs live resin, only. We freeze whole plants at harvest so the terpenes never volatilize. Then we extract cold, in small batches. What ends up in the jar is only what the flower produced — nothing added, nothing borrowed.

Flash-frozen at harvest
Whole plants go into the freezer within hours of cutting. Every terpene the plant produced stays with us through extraction.

Never distilled
No distillate base. No botanical terps sprayed in for flavor. If it wasn't in the flower, it isn't in the jar.

Every batch is traceable to a named partner farm — most within a two-hour drive of our Coos Bay extraction lab.

We run in volumes small enough for one extractor to sign off on. Quality never gets outsourced to scale.
